Year in and year out, we hear from parents and dancers that our Spring Shows are the highlight of their year. We have been putting these shows on for more than 15 years, and they truly are a community-wide event.
Family, friends and neighbors all head to the Shorecrest High School Performing Arts Center for a show featuring their dancer's class. Each show takes about an hour, giving audience members just enough time to see their dancers and about 10 or 11 other classes of varying ages, skill levels and dance genres. Dancers wear full costumes in a show staged by Shorecrest's professional stage and lighting crew. Each class typically performs only in one show, but the studio puts on 10-12 different shows over the course of a weekend (contrasted with many studios that, if they put on any performances at all, hold one show that lasts several hours).
Dancers and audience members rave about the shows for their professionalism and organization, as well as their positive, creative spirit. The shows are consistently rated as one of the best things about All That Dance. To learn more about the shows, please contact the office staff. Another way to learn more about the shows is to ask to borrow a DVD of a show from a past year.
