Maygan Wurzer, Director & Owner
Maygan founded All That Dance in 1994 and has grown the studio from a handful of classes at the Laurelhurst Community Center to the beautiful, inviting and enriching studio it is today. Maygan has more than ten years of experience as a dance instructor, specializing in Tap, Jazz and Ballet. She received her early training at Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she performed in their annual Nutcracker production for four years. She also studied at Cornish, recently completed the Summer Dance Institute for Teachers and has taken intensive tap workshops in New York and Seattle. She has performed locally in various musical productions at the Fifth Avenue (Brigadoon, Here’s Love, 42nd Street) and Civic Light Opera and Village Theater. Maygan holds a B.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Washington and taught sixth and seventh graders in public school for six years before moving her attention full-time to All That Dance. Calling on teaching expertise, performance experience and - most of all - a joy of sharing dance, Maygan is appreciative of the wonderful support she has received from all of you over the years and thrilled to have you and your children be a part of the new and improved All That Dance -- today and well into the future!

Celia Boarman
Celia has been dancing for about as long as she’s been walking. As a child, she was mesmerized by the dancing duo of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, imitating their every move. She has been trained in modern dance, jazz, ballet and, of course, ballroom. Celia studied acting and dance on scholarship at Cornish College of the Arts. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in theater from the University of Washington. She went on to perform in numerous professional theater productions in the Seattle area. Her training in ballroom dancing consists of coaching by some of the top national and international competitive dancers in the industry. Having formerly competed, she is now involved in competitive dancing through her students. As a choreographer and ballroom dancer, Celia has entertained audiences all along the West Coast. Celia enjoys teaching all ages and all levels of dance -- from 8-year-olds to 85-year-olds; from those taking their first timid steps on the social dance floor to polished competitive dancers. Gotta dance!

Heidi Wadsley
Heidi first discovered dance at age three as a child growing up in Storm Lake, Iowa. She studied Tap, Jazz, and Ballet for fifteen years as well as five years of Pointe and Lyrical. In 1996, she moved to Vermillion, South Dakota, studying dance at the University of South Dakota, and performing two years with “U-Dance,” the university dance team. Heidi choreographed for the team while also choreographing for a local high school dance team and teaching tap, jazz and ballet at local dance schools. In 1997, she added Irish Step Dance to her repertoire.

Teresa Beery
Teresa has taught Parent-Toddler and Creative dance for the past several years at Spectrum Dance Theatre and the Secret Garden Preschool. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her love of dance with the little ones. Another great love is musical theater and she has combined the two by choreographing The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz and other musicals at the elementary school level. Teresa grew up in Federal Way and later attended Brigham Young University, receiving her B.A. in Dance with an emphasis in Modern and Creative. She studied with Alwin Nikolais and Murray Lewis at the Nikolais/Louis Dance Lab in New York.

Rachel Stewart
Rachel has been teaching children for more than seven years. Her repertoire includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Creative Dance and Drama (during our summer camps). She received her dance training at Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Washington. She founded and directed the dance program at the Perkins School for children and has worked in the Seattle Public Schools at Ingraham High School, teaching and choreographing musical productions. She currently is teaching dance at Billings Middle School, where she also is creating a program for adolescent girls. This program builds on work she began at the UW, where her education included several years researching and writing a thesis regarding girls, body image and self-esteem.

Anne Hundley
Anne has a rich and varied background in dance. She grew up studying ballet in Redmond and went on to the University of Iowa, where she studied and performed modern dance while majoring in Comparative Literature. At Iowa, Anne began teaching creative dance to children. She later traveled to West Africa, learning about Senegal's rich storytelling and dance traditions. For her honors project, she taught junior high and university students about her wordly dancing experiences. Since moving to Seattle, Anne has performed for the Co-Motion Dance Company and at Seattle Center's Brazil Fest. One of Anne's loves as a dance instructor is seeing how dancers express their wonderful movement ideas.

A mother of two, Krissy works well with children of all ages. A more detailed biography is coming soon. All That Dance -- and many dancers and parents -- are thrilled that Krissy has returned to ATD after a short absence.

Wayne Wurzer, Co-owner
Wayne, husband of Maygan, can't dance. Oh, he used to hit the local clubs (anyone remember Celebrity Bar & Grill in Pioneer Square in the early '90s?) and drop some serviceable funk moves. And Celia babied him through a few privates so he would be able to execute a respectable foxtrot with Maygan at their wedding. But for the most part, Wayne can't dance. What he can -- and does -- do is help with studio operations, everything from finance, facilities, management, marketing, Web site production, performance planning and more. You also may have seen him as emcee of All That Dance's annual Spring Performances. He also serves as Communications Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska. Before that, he worked in a variety of media jobs, including Editor-in-Chief of CitySearch.com and as a reporter and editor for the Seattle Times. Along the way, he's also developed skills in the social services field. He has a bachelor's in Communications from Cal State Fullerton and a master's in counseling from Bastyr University, Seattle. He has worked to strengthen families as a Child & Family Therapist and has worked and trained in the arena of domestic violence, serving as an advocate for victims and a group counselor for perpetrators (now, there's a tough crowd!). In his spare time, he coaches his twin boys in T-ball and soccer and is co-coordinator of the Wedgwood Elementary School Chess Club.
