Watching Week is when students get the opportunity
to spend some time in the spotlight.
Parents and other family and friends are
invited onto the studio dance floor to watch an entire lesson. You'll not only
see how far your dancer has developed their skills within the All That Dance
curriculum, you'll also see any choreography the class has been working on. In
addition, you'll get a great sense for how your dancer's class is structured,
starting with a warmup that incorporates brain-compatible learning principles
and progresses more specific skill-based exercises.
Watching Week is always toward the end of each session. Please mark it down in your calendar! (For the next upcoming Watching
Week, please see our Calendar page.)
For your dancer's Watching Week class, you are
welcome to bring your camera, video recorder or other hand-held recording
device. During class, you'll also be able to enjoy a cup of coffee or other
drink (please no food, however). Also please note that during Watching Week the
studio is very busy and parking is tighter than usual -- we recommend that you
allow a few extra minutes for your arrival.
