Registration & Calendar Overview

All That Dance classes are designed to be delivered over the course of a year-long curriculum (September to June). This means what we almost always keep dancers in the same class level for the full dance year (a 17-week Fall Session, followed by a 17-week Spring Session). Summer Session (10 weeks, mid-June to September is a time to brush up try new things or brush up on favorite genres. The last week of every session is always Watching Week.

One of the strengths of our program is that we group dancers closely together in classes by age and skill level. We do this through our well-developed system of Personalized Recommendations.

Key dates are listed on our Calendar page, which is viewable in list format or calendar format.

Fall Session

The Fall Session is a 17-class session, mid-September to end of January. We typically don't have classes the week of Thanksgiving week and during a three-week Winter Break. mid-June. Every year in mid-July, each student who was with us in the prior Spring Session will receive Checklists/Class Recommendations. The Checklist(s) show how the student is progressing in the All That Dance curriculum. This information is announced via email and available in your family account on our Web site. The Class Recommendations are the classes that the student will be eligible to register for for the Fall Session.

Registration if first-come, first-served. No priority registration. The first day of registration is typically on a Saturday near the end of July. Students are able to join classes mid-way through the Fall Session and tuition will be pro-rated beginning the fourth week.

Spring Session

All Fall Session students get Priority Registration, which means we hold their Spring Session roster spot, typically until mid-December. A "Shuffle Period" follows in which Fall Session students can try to switch classes (same level but different day and time). After that, typically the beginning of January, we open up registration to all students.

Spring Session students, ages 4 and older, get the opportunity to perform in our annual Spring Shows. Specific scheduling information about the shows, including dates and times for the show and a mandatory rehearsal. are given out at Fall Watching Week. Participation in the shows is optional and comes with an extra cost. Details are in the Performance Handbook (see link under "Performance" tab but check the year of the shows).

Students are limited in joining performing classes mid-way through the Spring Session.

Summer Session

The Spring Session is a 10-class session, mid-June to the end of August. We offer classes, which generally have a bit wider skill level of students compared to Fall Session and Spring Session.
